Set in colonial India against Gandhi's upward thrust to electricity, it's the story of eight-12 months-old Chuyia, who is widowed and sent to a home to live in penitence; once there, Chuyia's feisty presence deeply affects the lives of the other residents.
Water is primarily based on Drama and directed by Deepa Mehta, Starring Lisa Ray, John Abraham and Seema Biswas within the lead roles.
